How to add or edit user roles for permissioning

To add or edit user Roles, click “Manage ESM Roles”.

Click on a Role to edit or delete the role. In the example below, we clicked on “Drug Safety Representative” to open the Edit Role box.

Clicking “Show Edit History” will bring users to the Audit Log for Roles. Clicking “Delete” for a Role name option that is associated with Users within the user’s Evidex Signal Management will prompt the following warning message. Users will be required to reassign the associated users to a different Role before proceeding. Clicking “Cancel” will exit the screen without deleting.

Clicking “Delete” for a Role that is not associated with any users will prompt the following message. Then the user can safety Proceed with Delete. Clicking “Cancel” will exit the screen safety without deleting the Role.
